What is hydronic heating ?

Hydronic heating systems use water as a heat transfer medium and circulate it through tubing in the floors or pipes to radiators, towel warmers, convectors or ThermaSkirt. The heat is then radiated to warm the surfaces within the home.

Hydronic heating is the most comfortable, cost efficient heating choice used in homes and buildings today. It’s versatile, comfortable, and economical. it can be incorporated into any and every style of home, utilising any fuel source

Radiators, Towel Warmers & Designer Radiators

The hydronic system simply heats water and moves it through sealed pipes to radiators throughout the building giving off radiant heat. Towel warmers can be used to dry towels in bathrooms and small radiators are often used in laundry drying cupboards. Individual Radiators heat outputs can be controlled with thermostatic heads, common in bedrooms and Radiators can also be grouped into separate zones controlled by thermostats.

Underfloor Heating In-Slab, In-Screed and Dry-floor.

Heated water circulates through a network of pipes underneath the surface of the floor. This heats the floor surface and generates a warm radiant heat evenly through out the area. Great for heating large areas, no dust stirred by air duct heating systems ideal for asthma and allergy relief.

In-Slab

One of the most energy efficient and cost effective forms of heating, Hydronic In-Slab heating is a healthy way to evenly distribute a luxurious radiant heat upwards through the floor throughout a building.

In-Screed

In-Screed is more efficient than standard In-Slab heating and has an exceptional improvement in running costs due to reduced heat loss and faster reaction times. In-Screed uses an insulation board over the structural concrete slab. The circuits are fixed onto the insulation boards and a small layer of concrete is applied (Screed).

Dry-Floor

Dry System is the innovative dry system to meet the demand for those who want underfloor heating in an existing building or a building with no concrete slab. The wide range of thicknesses allows the application both in new buildings and during renovations. Very fast laying, no need for screed drying time. High heat conductivity

Trench Heaters / Convectors In-Floor, On-Floor & Wall

Australian homes where there is little wall space can take great advantage using in-floor or on-floor trench heating, Still being able to get clean, healthy hydronic heating your home without have to stress about wall space. Very customizable in all models to fit any specifications, large range of grilles to cover in many colours and finishes such as stainless steel, wood, aluminium etc. On floor convectors also come in many different versions sizes and finishes.

In-Floor

Choose floor convectors Licon with forced convection and optimized convection in places where the efficiency must be increased while preserving the state of the art design. Wide use possibilities, convector increased heat efficiency, very quiet operation, energy saving fans with electric engine and minimal input

On-Floor

Free standing convectors design enhanced by the state-of-theart technologies. Universal design of the free standing convectors with high efficiency also at low temperature gradients. This prederminates them as ideal radiators to be heated by heat pumps. Wide range of dimensions and higher heat outputs satisfy high demanding customers.

Wall

Ideal when the heat source is a heat pump, condensation boiler or supplementary source of heat for floor heating, particularly during a transitional period or when an instant temperature increase is required. Suitable’ dry-cooling during the summer. Low noise and low fan intake while maintaining maximally attainable performances.

what is the process to get hydronic heating ?
Simply contact us via the online enquiry form, send an email or phone us and one of our experienced staff will guide you through process
Slide 2
After establishing type of hydronic heating you want e.g underfloor heating, radiators, towel warmers etc we will conduct a heat load analysis on your building informing us of the kW (kilowatt) requirements to heat the areas you have selected . This enables us to determine the appropriate sized radiators, amount of floor-coil needed. Additionally the kW amount also determines what sized heat source should be used to power the system, for example a gas boiler or heat pump.

After working with you to layout the radiators, towel warmers or whatever your preferred hydronic methods were through out the home / building we will have enough information to provide you with an accurate quotation. Links to our enquiry form, products, packages and brochure can be found below.
