Titaseal Sealant

General Information

TITASEAL 3577 is widely used for the locking and sealing of metal threaded pipes and fifittings. This anaerobic sealant cures when confifined in the absence
of air between close fifitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening from shock and vibration. TITASEAL 3577 is ideal to seal against gases, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils and other chemicals. Excellent thixotropic property prevents migration of the sealant before or during curing. This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.

Application Method

Surfaces should be dry, clean, and free of any contamination. Apply a 360° bead of TITASEAL 3577 to the leading threads of the male fifitting, leaving the
fifirst thread free. Force the material into the threads and voids, adjust product amount accordingly and apply a 360° bead of TITASEAL 3577 on the female
threads also. Using standard practices, assemble and wrench tighten fifittings until proper alignment is obtained. Properly tightened fifittings will seal
instantly to moderate pressure.

Storage

Anaerobic adhesives shall be ideally stored in a cool, dry place in unopened containers at a room temperature between 8°C to 28°C. Please do not return
any unused material to its original container.
